Best Men’s Luxury Watch Under $600: MKII Hawkinge Type 48 Watch
MKII is a boutique watch manufacturer on the Mainline in my neck of the woods. They build beautiful watches at the highest quality you’ll find anywhere. Their latest offering is the MKII Hawkinge, Type 48 ($595). They created the Hawkinge to emulate British pilot watches. It is a refined version of the very first watch under their brand MKII. This watch measures 38x48mm and features Super LumiNova BGW9 on the indices. This is one of our favorite everyday wear luxury watches. Now if you want one of these bad boys you need to act soon because being a boutique MKII does limited runs of their watches so they could run out at any time.
Best Men’s Futuristic Luxury Watch: Ressence Type 5 Watch
The Ressence Type 5 ($42,000) is the coolest watch on our list, but it’s also one of the most expensive. The Ressence Type was built to be the best diving watch on the planet and achieve the best readability underwater.
It does this by immersing all 142 components, including the dial, in 37.5 ml of oil. Doing this cancels out Total Internal Reflection. Normally a standard dive watch creates a mirror effect from refraction when viewed at an angle. Because of this, it needs to be viewed straight on. The Type 5 negates this effect completely. If you’re a professional diver this is the watch you want to roll with.
